Nissan's commitment to conservation and environmental responsibility led it to develop its first electric consumer vehicle, the Leaf.
The Leaf has received praise before, and it's getting more now.
For Earth Day 2017, Kelley Blue Book released a list of its "Five Best Electric Cars Under $40,000." The 2017 Nissan Leaf stood among them.
The Leaf earned a spot among valued EVs through its accessibility and usability. Starting at $30,680 before applying a $7,500 available federal tax credit, the Leaf makes electric vehicle technology available to the average driver. And with a range of over 100 miles and a hatchback design, it's convenient, too.
As for performance, the Kelley Blue Book editors say it best.
"Driving Nissan’s Leaf electric vehicle for the first time can be an eye-opening experience," the review says. "Thanks to its torque-happy electric powertrain, the Leaf is quick off the line and rather sprightly."
The 2017 Nissan Leafcombines convenience, excitement, and efficiency, all while producing zero gas emissions. If this sounds like a compelling package, come see one for yourself at Ross Nissan of El Monte.
